THROBERT'S THEATRE of THINKOLOGIZING!

A WORK IN PROGRESS

In the comments section, my pretend fiance evariste writes:

Throbert-I keep forgetting to tell you that I finally read that story you scanned! It was great, thanks for pointing me to it! I don't even remember what we were talking about that day.

He's referring to this ''short-short'' by sci-fi author J. Morrissey, who takes the Fall of Man episode from Genesis 3, dumps the smooth-talking snake, and suggests that maybe Judeo-Christian tradition got it all wrong in assuming that God would naturally be ticked off by the Apple Incident.

OH, WHAT TANGLED THREADS UNROLL
WHEN FIRST WE FEEL THE URGE TO TROLL

Posted today on Little Green Footballs under the anagrammatic nom d'écran "Ali Talorm":

The moon expeditions organised by Islamic scientists under the sultanate of Süleyman I correctly charted with precision numberous lunar features discovered only in the 20th century by Westren astronomy. This, at a time when the average so-called "civilized" European still believed the Earth to be a disc supported by elephants.

Remarkably, as proven by this modern reconstruction, the protective costumes worn by the "quranauts" anticipates by hundreds of years the features of NASA and Glavkosmos spacesuit designs, such as oxygen tank and helmet of transparent material (Cf. Sura 41:39, "And among His signs is this, that you see the earth still").

The scholarly integrity demands that we ask whether Western ignorance of the Muslim lunar missions is simply an honest oversight? Or whether documented historical facts have been suppressed by certain elements deliberately, who's overrepresentation in academics and scientific institutions is a matter of record.

The facts are there for those who seek them and inshallah, "the truth will out" despite the wish of those who would deny the contribution of Islamic pioneers guided by the many astonishing scientific statements of Qur'an.

Regular LGF readers seem to have gotten more savvy about avoiding hair-trigger responses to Obvious Joke Trolls, but we'll see whether anyone bites.
